Managing Director

 Maarten joined HEINEKEN in 1996 as a Management Trainee and has held several Finance roles in HEINEKEN Netherlands. In 2009 Maarten moved to Surinam to become General Manager of Surinaamse Brouwerij. Under his leadership, profit doubled organically and Heineken volume tripled. For the past 3 years, as head of Global Sales, Maarten and his team have successfully shaped and driven a global sales agenda by supporting OPCO’s in implementing Picture of Success (as part of EOE), Revenue Management and E-commerce (B2B platforms) across all regions.


Conor Hyland

Conor Hyland

Finance Director

Conor was appointed Finance Director in September 2015. A native of Cork, Conor holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCC and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has been with HEINEKEN Ireland since 1996. Conor has worked across a number of Finance and IT roles including short term assignments with HEINEKEN International in New York and Bahamas. Prior to joining HEINEKEN Ireland Conor worked for four years with KPMG.


Wojciech Bogusz

Wojciech Bogusz

Marketing Director

Wojciech Bogusz was appointed Marketing Director, HEINEKEN Ireland in December 2019. He joins HEINEKEN Ireland  from the Global Heineken® Brand Team in Amsterdam where he was Brand Development Manager; there he was responsible for supporting all European OpCos and identifying growth drivers for Heineken®. During that period, Heineken® accelerated in Europe, consistently outperforming the category & competition. Prior to joining HEINEKEN, Wojciech held roles in Grupa Żywiec and Danone.


Sina Engelke

Sina Engelke

HR Director

Since joining HEINEKEN's International Graduate Programme in 2009, Sina has held a variety of roles including Performance Management Consultant in Global HR, Amsterdam and HR Manager for HEINEKEN Germany. Her most recent role being in HEINEKEN UK where Sina was responsible for the On Trade, Off Trade and Marketing function from a HR perspective. As part of the commercial leadership team, Sina led the development and implementation of the strategic people plans and played a key role in shaping the OpCo wide Inclusion and Diversity agenda.


Kathryn D'Arcy

Corporate Affairs Director

Kathryn was appointed Corporate Affairs Director in January 2015. She holds a Food Science and Technology Degree from University College Cork and a Masters in Public and Political Communications from Dublin City University. Kathryn began her career working in Germany and London with Bord Bia. She returned to Dublin where she held a number of senior roles in IBEC. Prior to her appointment as Corporate Relations Director, she was the Director of the Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland.


Sharon Walsh

Sharon Walsh

On Trade Director

Sharon was appointed On Trade Director in March 2020. She joined HEINEKEN in 2011 and was appointed Marketing Director HEINEKEN Ireland in 2012. In this this role she was instrumental in unlocking business growth through driving the portfolio and accelerating the innovation strategy, including the successful launch of Orchard Thieves cider. Sharon was appointed Global Director Cider in 2016 where she further shaped the Cider category around the globe. Previous to HEINEKEN, Sharon has gained broad Marketing experience in the drinks industry at UDV, Diageo and Coca Cola.


Pete Green

Off Trade Director

Pete Green joined HEINEKEN Ireland as the Off Trade Director in September 2017. Pete previously worked in HEINEKEN USA where he held the role of National Sales Director for Grocery in West Coast of the United States since 2014. Pete first started in the industry with Scottish and Newcastle in the UK as a graduate in 1998. Following HEINEKEN’s acquisition of Scottish & Newcastle, Pete held a number of commercial roles across both On and Off Trade. Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours in business and politics from Keele University.


John Golden

John Golden

Supply Chain Director

John has been with HEINEKEN Ireland since 1997 where he has worked in Finance and our wholesale business. In 2013, John was appointed as Customer Service and Logistics Director. Prior to joining HEINEKEN Ireland John worked for over six years with Goulding Chemicals Ltd., then part of IAWS PLC (now called Aryzta) and now part of Origin PLC.
